Up to now, I focused on wireless channel modeling. In fact, I studied magnetic channels when I first entered in the company. Now, I changed my research area from wirless communication engineering to new science field research. Therefore, I have a mind that I need to update my interesting research field to be chaged to new area.

One of my recent research field is the channel modeling of a solar cell active layer. It is very similar between an wireless communicaiton channel and an active layer channel. One of researchers showed that he is now moving to new research area in communications, which includes ionic channels.

Like in wireless communicaiton channels, the efficiency can be measured from creation to dissociation. In this new research area, the mapping between ionic channels to conventional communication channels including wired lines and wireless lines is important. If we can map between them, many communication theories can be reused for new research areas.

In an active lyaer of an organic solar cell, exciton is a communication source instead of wireless propagation. The media of this channel is a blended polymer instead of air in wireless communications. Recently, the exciton propagation has been modeled as first reaction method.

Simulation methods

In the active layer modelings, we can use Monte-Carlo (MC) methods among other simulation methods. The MC method is used for large scale device simulations while molecular dynamics simulations can be used for small scale simulaitons. Here, we consider both time and dimension for scaling factors.
